Avoiding Smoking HEALTH THREATS With Vaping
Recently there’s been many media coverage about electronic cigarettes and their health risks. Many articles have been discussed how these cigarettes are really dangerous to your health. These articles all concentrate on one question, that is – Are they effective or not? It appears that everyone who writes articles about this topic is quite anti-smoking. The majority seem to be scared that these cigarettes will somehow harm or kill their smoker friends. So how does e-cigs differ from smoking cigarettes?
E-Cigarettes certainly are a relatively new technological breakthrough that allows one to inhale vaporized nicotine. They look and feel nearly the same as traditional cigarettes but they deliver less nicotine, significantly less tar and almost no odor. Here are a few differences between E-Cigarettes and traditional cigarettes but the main distinction between them is that e-cigs usually do not cause cancer or any negative health effects. As we’ve heard all too often, it is often difficult to take care of these old smokers with medication or therapy. But while medication can help to control the withdrawal symptoms of an aging patient, it is also detrimental to their longterm health.
Nicotine is harmful to the human brain, since it does contain nicotine. Ingesting tobacco smoke has been proven Juul Compatible Pods to destroy some brain cells and also to decrease the patient’s overall brain development. This is the reason E-Cigarettes are so much safer than traditional cigarettes. E-Cigarettes do not contain nicotine, which allows for them to be marketed towards those people who are trying to quit or at the very least trying to limit their using tobacco.
But does this eliminate all of the risks associated with E-Cigarettes? Not necessarily. E-Cigarettes usually do not damage or kill the lungs like traditional smoking cigarettes do. But they do get rid of the benefits that smoking provide to the smoker. E-Cigarettes contain no toxins or carcinogens, but they do contain nicotine, which is a toxin that can harm the lungs and contribute to the aging process.
Nicotine, in any form, is a highly addictive drug. It leaves smokers wanting it more often. That drives them to light up another cigarette, which in turn leads to more harm being done to the smoker. E-Cigarettes don’t deliver the nicotine, they only deliver the harmful chemical compounds and other agents which are present when you light up a traditional using tobacco.
Actually, the second major threat of e-cigs is that they may be used as a tool for smoking tobacco. The most common e-pipe is called the water pipe, which allows users to inhale vapors while blowing in to the pipe. This can significantly increase the threat of lung injury for teenagers, especially those that haven’t yet gotten used to breathing. As teenagers continue to utilize the pipes, they can further impose and amplify these smoking health threats. They may become dependent on the vapor and begin smoking at an earlier age than they otherwise might.
The ultimate threat of smoking through vapor is one which we have to take very seriously indeed. A study conducted by the American Society for Research on Cancer has determined that there is a real possibility that e-cigs may cause or significantly increase the risk of early stage lung disease. The study looked not merely at advanced lung disease but also at those stages which are already reversible. The results were not particularly surprising: researchers discovered that long-term users of any type of e-pipe had a statistically significant greater potential for having or developing early stage lung disease.
There’s reason to believe there are other complications which could arise from prolonged usage of any sort of electronic smoking device. But we have no idea what the exact hazards will be before science is further developed. In the meantime, it seems safe to say that quitting smoking through the use of a vaporizer is one way to avoid the serious health consequences of smoking. These dangers are just the beginning of the set of improvements we are able to all enjoy as we reduce our body weight and protect ourselves against chronic diseases like cancer and cardiovascular disease. As we move toward creating a smoke-free world, we are able to all breathe easier.
