Recently there’s been many media coverage about electronic cigarettes and their health risks. Many articles have been discussed how these cigarettes are really dangerous to your health. These articles all concentrate on one question, that is – Are they effective or not? It appears that everyone who writes articles about this topic is quite anti-smoking. The majority seem to be scared that these cigarettes will somehow harm or kill their smoker friends. So how does e-cigs differ from smoking cigarettes?

The study looked not merely at advanced lung disease but also at those stages which are already reversible. The results were not particularly surprising: researchers discovered that long-term users of any type of e-pipe had a statistically significant greater potential for having or developing early stage lung disease.

There’s reason to believe there are other complications which could arise from prolonged usage of any sort of electronic smoking device. But we have no idea what the exact hazards will be before science is further developed.
